Reinhold Büdeker, 2010, wood

With a height of 4.50 m, this is the largest asparagus sculpture in the world. It weighs 4 tons of fibre-reinforced concrete, 500 kg of foundation anchors and 900 kg of wood. The Douglas fir trunks come from the Nienburg forest.

Project management and implementation: Reinhold Büdeker (Nienburger Schnitzstube) with the help of the 10th grade of the Nienburg secondary school.
