Let yourself be enchanted by works of French, Spanish and German painting from the 16th and 17th centuries in the Old Masters Picture Gallery 
The Kassel Apollo and other ancient works of art can be seen in the Collection of Classical Antiquities, also in the Museum Schloss Wilhelmshöhe. Portrait engravings, maps, topographical views and much more can be found in the Graphic Collection.
 
The Museum Schloss Wilhelmshöhe offers a variety of museums under one roof and a magnificent view of the city and Kassel's landmark, the Hercules.

Directions

Wilhelmshöhe Palace is located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe. You can reach the castle on foot from the Wilhelmshöhe Castle car park in about 15 minutes (uphill).

Driving in the park by car or bus is not permitted.

 

Car parking facilities:

Paid parking spaces are available at the Wilhelmshöhe and Herkules visitor centres.

The Park-KombiTicket is valid on water play days for a maximum of 7 people at the same time as a ticket for the KVG bus route 23.

 

Bus route 23 shuttles back and forth between the Herkules Visitor Centre and the Wilhelmshöhe Visitor Centre on water play days.

 

(The trick fountains take place annually from 1 May to 3 October on Wednesdays, Sundays and public holidays).
