In 30 days

Short facts

  • Hann. Münden
  • 13.04.2025

In a time when wishing still helped and people believed in fairy tales, it could happen that Puss in Boots was to be found in the streets of Münden with a sack full of partridges and the witch was firing up the oven in the bark house on Doktorwerder to roast Hansel and Gretel. Truly fairytale times.

And the City Guides Guild would like to take you back to these fairytale times at this year's season opening. On a walk through the town and in small play scenes, young and old will hear and see, among other things, the Brave Little Tailor and his victory “over seven at one stroke”, Mother Hulda, who never tires of shaking her beds and even Doctor Ironbeard will do the honors and treat you free of charge on this day.

A nostalgic walk through the town full of magic and enchantment, ending with a small snack in the historic town hall.

It starts on April 13, 2025 at 2.30 pm in front of the town hall.
Duration approx. 1.5 hours.

Tickets for this fairytale city tour are available from 17.03. at the Tourist Information Office in the town hall for €9, children accompanied by an adult are free.

For organizational reasons, the number of participants is limited to 35 places.

This guided tour is an event organized by the Hann. Münden Guild of Town Guides to mark the start of the “50 Years of the German Fairy Tale Route” anniversary from April 2025 to spring 2026.
