For the first time since 2020, the Night of Sports is returning in conjunction with the Sports Awards of the City of Hann. After an interruption due to the pandemic and subsequent renovation work in the Festhalle im Auefeld, this special event will finally take place again on Saturday, 22 March 2025.
"The Night of Sport is an ideal opportunity to celebrate together and honor the best athletes in our city," explains Klaus Dreßler. The organization team provided a worthy setting with top-class acts: Sven Winkel and his "Madison Eventband" will lend the evening the necessary momentum with appropriate music, while the Gimter Gardetanzgruppe will delight the audience. As the grand finale, guests can look forward to a midnight raffle with attractive prizes. The limited 350 tickets are available directly from the Trans World Hotel Auefeld (Tel. 05541/705-0) for 15 euros.
On Wednesday, March 12, 2025, the city's festive sports awards ceremony will be held in the historic Knights' Hall of the Welfenschloss. Afterwards, citizens will have the opportunity to vote for the Münden sportswoman, the Münden sportsman and the team of the year via the Münden city app. Voting will be open until Friday, March 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
