Spessart throne in the Gelnhausen city garden

Short facts

  • Gelnhausen

Fairytale Spessart throne with a view over Gelnhausen

The throne has always been a symbol of kings and gods, of rule and power. All visitors to the Gelnhausen City Garden from near and far can now savor grandeur feelings - even if only for moments: an oversized Spessart fairy tale throne is available on the crescent for souvenir photos of all kinds.

The majestic piece of furniture is "Spessart through and through". It was created from Spessartiche oak, which comes from a local sawmill, by the Jossgrund artist and sculptor Faxe Müller. And there is not just one of its kind!
