1st Bursfeld Summer Concert - Sponte Trio

The cello trio, consisting of the internationally renowned cellist Matias de
Oliveira Pinto and the two Bremen-based musicians Lynda Anne Cortis and
Matthias Boutros, was born out of a spontaneous idea and a shared
enjoyment of music. As a surprise gift, they played together for the first time
at a friend's birthday party - a moment that quickly became an
inspiring musical experience. The synergy between the cellists
was immediately noticeable, and this first encounter gave rise to the desire to
continue making music together.

The trio delights with a diverse repertoire that ranges from early baroque sounds
to specially arranged, fiery Argentinian dances and presents the cello
in all its tonal diversity. The spontaneous encounters and the joy
of playing together show how easy it can be to
find and deepen musical connections.
