The new Kneipp spa garden is a place to relax and linger in the Kneipp spa town of Neukirchen. The varied hiking trail "Nuff und Nopp" bears the certificate "Wanderbares Deutschland Quality Trail" and leads through forest and fields around Neukirchen. The new fable trails "Bächeweg", "Babiller Ausguck", "Mühlengrund" and "KinOrem" in the Knüll Nature Park offer a variety of nature experiences. Other hiking trails complement the offer. There are many lovingly restored half-timbered houses in the small town in Knüll, which is located directly on the Rotkummelland railway cycle path.
In the 14th century the village became a town. A protective city wall was completed around 1396. The Nikolaikirche, a three-aisled hall church in late Gothic style, has stood there since the 15th century. A climb over 132 steps to the balcony of the 36 m high defense tower is rewarded with a magnificent view. The watchman's room can also be visited. The fairy tale fountain, the local history museum and the tourist information center are also located on the market square.
Cultural offers are concerts, church music, cabaret, lecture series and readings, but also traditional festivals such as the Babiller Whitsun fair and the Christmas market in the middle of the half-timbered city center.
