Enchanting places:wolfhagen

Wolfhagen offers its inhabitants and guests an especially enchanting atmosphere provided by the Grimm's fairy tale "The Wolf and the Seven Young Kids".
On the historical market square is the Fairytale Well with a life-sized bronze wolf, its stomach full of stones, the seventh kid standing at the edge of the well.
Storytelling sessions of beloved fairy tales, small-scale performing arts, and even civil wedding ceremonies take place in the enchanting atmosphere of the "Grimm's Fairytale Cellar" in the Old Town Hall, where replicates of paintings by Ludwig Emil Grimm are exhibited and there is an impressively large wooden carving of an opened book of fairy tales.
