In conjunction with the German Fairy Tale Road, the borough of Oedelsheim chose Puss in Boots as their symbolic figure. He appears at local events to represent the town.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are associated with Gieselwerder. Visitors of Mill Square enjoy this group of fairytale figures and they are present at other events such as welcoming ships and fairytale village celebrations.
