There once was a little girl. Grandmother gave her a little riding hood made of red velvet. The girl looked so good with it, and as she did not want to wear anything else everybody started calling her Little Red Riding Hood.In the Schwälmer Land region, the young women wear a red bonnet when they put on their impressive traditional costumes for special occasions. It is not hard to believe that the Brothers Grimm found the inspiration to their popular fairy tale in the Schwalm region.
