The beautiful Lahn River Valley has an unexpected variety of things to explore.
See the home of Otto Ubbelohde in Gossfelden; visit the local history museum and the abbey church in Caldern. From the observation tower atop Rimberg, elevation 497 m, you'll enjoy a sweeping 360-degree panoramic view of the valley and its hamlets. See Dragon's Cave. Walk up well-marked trails to the Wichtelhäuser, set like elves' dwellings on mighty rocks near Brungerhausen.
