You are cordially invited to visit the historic framework village of Helsa with its fortified church tower, the Merten-Jägerbrunnen fountain and the 4 m high millwheel; they all contribute to the idyllic overall impression of the village. Take a trip through the history of our community by visiting the historical hiking trail of the Huguenots colony St. Ottilien. The panorama from the Honighofanlage to the Kaufunger Wald is a joy in every season. You may enjoy spending some time at the Hollenach leisure facility in the Eschenstruth neighbourhood or in the Hergesbachtal recreation area south of Helsa.

The Millwheel Museum is open May to October on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month from 2pm to 4pm.
