With more than 700 half-timbered houses, Hann. Münden's old town creates a consistent medieval impression. Of particular interest:
Town hall in the impressive style of the Weser Renaissance, Welfen Castle with City Museum, Tillyschanze (look-out), Weserstein ("Where the Werra and Fulda River meet and kiss....")

Enchanting places:werrabrücke

The most famous travelling doctor of the Baroque Age, Johann Andreas Eisenbart, practiced and died in this city.
- Last residence in the langen Straße showing an Eisenbarth sculpture
- Tomb slab at St. Aegidien Church
- Glockenspiel (carillon) with moving figures in the town hall gable front 12am, 3pm and 5pm daily
