The Göttinge
n Fairyland Society is a non-profit organisation founded in 1998. Every two years, it organises the Göttingen Fairytale Week but it is also active in other cultural areas in the city and the district of Göttingen.
The society's principal task is to support and advance the national cultural tradition of fairy tales. It has been a member of the German Fairy Tale Route since 2007.
The society is glad to offer you assistance for your own fairy tale event, including the provision of image and text material. There are exhibits on various fairytale topics available for borrowing. The society publishes the brochure ‘The Brothers Grimm in Göttingen and the Göttingen Seven'. Please contact us for information on future events and other society activities.
