Thanks to the initiative of author Karl Paetow, "The Best Weser Sagas", the museum is housed in one of the most beautiful villas in the spa's park garden since 1973. Transported quickly into the world of fairy tales, legends and sagas, we learn about who collected and wrote these stories as well as their contents.
Special exhibits are devoted to art history and related social themes.
The library is also open to museum visitors during the week.

Programmes for children's birthday parties on request. Educational activities for kindergarten and school classes may be scheduled.
Regular meetings for storytellers are held here regularly.
There is a Storyhour monthly on the first Friday afternoon at 4.00pm.
